Every day consumers are using mobile devices for browsing the web and checking/sending e-mail. It is important to ensure that your SSL Certificate works with mobile devices if you intend to offer secure services to mobile device users.

We recommend the following SSL Certificates for use with mobile devices as these SSL Certificates include mobile ubiquity/compatibility :

If you are using Microsoft Exchange, Outlook Web Access (OWA) or primarily intend to use the SSL Certificate to secure POP3 and IMAP we recommend QuickSSL® Premium as it is our most affordable and efficient option at only A$105.20 per year.

The issuer statement of the QuickSSL® Premium and GeoTrust® 30 Day Free Trial SSL Certificates will show Equifax Secure Certificate Authority and you may check that the mobile device trusts the issuer by reviewing the list of trusted issuers in device itself.

RapidSSL® and FreeSSL™ products will not function correctly with most mobile devices as they do not have mobile ubiquity/compatibility.

Wildcard SSL Certificates function with most mobile devices, however, some mobile devices do not understand the asterix in the Common Name (CN) of the SSL Certificate and may display an error message. We do not recommend the use of wildcard SSL Certificates with mobile devices.
